Dinged Corners “Favorite On- Card Auto”

Well, they asked, And Ill answer!
Here are my top 3 favorite On-Card Autographs in my collection!
Number 3:
Sal Yvars Signed card. Some of you may of heard of Sal, as he was a member of the 1951 NL Champion New York Giants. He wasnt the greatest player around, with a career Average of .233 and only 10 career Home Runs. But this card has a personal story. Back in the 80’s, Mr.Yvars became a Stock Broker in Westchester NY, and My mom was his secretary. My mom said he was one of the nicest and funniest people she ever met. And one day, before I was even born, or named for that matter, he gave my mom this card, which was signed in pencil that says : “Best Of Luck, Tony Jr – Sal Yvars” This card has alot of sentimental value and is really cool, because technically, it is my first autograph!
Number 2: 
Daniel Murphy TTM personalized.
This card is one of my favorites because, besides Pelfrey, Murphy is My favorite Met! And also, he personalized it! I remember the day I got this TTM I was so happy! Its always great to get an auto of youre favorite player, especially when its personalized!
Number 1:
Megan Rapinoe Custom Card TTM
Of course this is a baseball card thing, but I just love this auto so much, I had to put it tops on this list! This card has a huge story attached to it, but I dont want to put you all to sleep so Ill spare you. But basically, me and my friend Denise really liked the WPS (Womens Pro Soccer) and we wanted to get an autograph of our favorite player, They didnt make cards for this league, or did we live anywhere near the stadium. So I made my first custom card, and we did alot of research and emails to the teams to find out about if they would do ttm or not. In the end, the summer full of work all paid off, with this awesome signed card (she signed 3) and a nice handwritten note, which Denise has. I go into alot of detail about this TTM in This Post.

Awesome Trade with Dan!

Today in the mail I got a nice box of cards from my friend Dan as his half of a trade, And boy, he sent me some awesome cards that really made my day! He sent cards of pretty much all of my favorite players!
There were some Sheffs,
I always love Sheffield cards, espically ones of him in a Mets uniform!
Then there were two Murphys:
Always nice to get a few Murphs that I dont have, And the chrome looks great!
Then there were some PELFS!!!! And yes, there was a Pelf that I really needed!
I needed the Full sized ginter one since the summer. Very nice to fianlly add a new pelf to my collection! And that mini is always cool!
Then there were some huuge additions to some of my newer Player Collections!

I did not own any of these cards except the 09 topps ones. So I got around 7 new cards of Jon! The Bowmans at the top are numbered, the blue one is 160/500 and the copper is 127/250.
Then there were some Parnells that I needed:
I did not own any of these cards, and They are all really nice! The one on the top left is a refractor. My favorites are the Tri Star minor league cards because these are really new to me, and of course the chromes and refractor cards all look great!
Then there was ALOT of really nice John Maine cards! These are awesome! I took a picture of all of them and scanned some of my favorite ones from the group:

Then there was probably the nicest card in the whole package:
A 2009 UD Triple Jersey card, All of the pieces have stripes on em! And also its not only numbered low to 99, but its 99 of 99! Pretty cool to have the last card of the numbers!
This was a really great trade with Dan, and I had alot of fun getting these cards! I will add em all to their respective player collection binders and boxes! Thank you and I look forward to trading with you again in the future!

Wow, Was not expecting this one back today at all! I sent 3 cards to the Rangers spring training to Josh Hamilton on February 25, 2009 and I got em all back today, November 7, 2009! Thats almost 300 days!
I say it was definitely worth the wait! As I got 2 autographs from one of the games great sluggers! Josh signed 2 out of the 3 cards I sent him, but he was even nice enough to return the 3rd unsigned one!

Sorry for the lack of posts recently guys! There has really been no news to report. So I think ill show you guys some things from about a month ago.
As you know, I am a huge Met fan, and that means, I hate the Phillies and the Yankees. (No offense to any of their fans who are reading this!) And with the world series going on, its been horrible. Although Ive gathered myself to root for the Phillies… yeah, you’re never gonna hear that one again! But in the boredom for met fans that is the post season, Me and my friend decided to express our hate for Derek Jeter ( The most overrated player in all of baseball) and Shane Victorino ( We just don’t like him!)

And no, I do not do this to cards that people give to me or trade me, I respect baseball cards and I had doubles of those anyways!
